Cllr Dudu Mazibuko: Executive Mayor of Ladysmith

Councillor Dudu Mazibuko, Her Worship, is the Mayor of Emnambithi/Ladysmith. The town has a population of 225 452 (2001 census). It is a town that is etched in history and was the location for battles fought between the Boers, the British and the Zulus.

Lindiwe Mazibuko: DA Spokesperson

Lindiwe Mazibuko is the National Spokesperson of the Democratic Alliance (DA). She also acts as DA's Shadow Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform. Mazibuko is the country's fourth youngest parliamentarian, after the ANC's Mduduzi Manana, Cope's Luzelle Adams and DA's Masizole Mnqasela and has been labelled a "rising star in Parliament" and a possible future DA Leader. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Honours from the University of Cape Town.

Nonhlanhla Faith Mazibuko

Nonhlanhla Faith Mazibuko, is the MEC for Community Safety in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature. She was chairperson of the Women's Caucus and party whip in the Gauteng provincial legislature. She was previously a Member of Parliament, serving at the National Council of Provinces where she served as a provincial whip and chairperson of the Joint Monitoring Committee on the improvement of life and the status of women.

Mazibuko obtained numerous qualifications from various academic institutions, including a BA (UNISA); Strategic Leadership Certificate (Wits); Public & Parliamentary Leadership course (Rhodes); Certificate in Leadership & Communication (Rhodes); Oversight & Monitoring Certificate (UCT); and Community Based Development Programme: Youth Skills Dev. Programme. She is currently the deputy provincial secretary of the African National Congress women's league .

Professor Ntomb'fikile Mazibuko

Prof. Fikile Mazibuko is the sixth Rector and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Zululand. She is the second woman to hold this position at the University of Zululand.

Professor Mazibuko was the previous Deputy Vice-Chancellor & Head of College of Humanities at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) and a holder of a distinguished Alumni award at Jane Addams College of Social Work. As an Alumnus of UNIZULU and a previous member of Council at UNIZULU, she brings a massive knowledge about the institution with added interest in humanities, especially in domestic violence and HIV/AIDS. Her academic achievements were further obtained internationally.
